An industrial designer driven by curiosity and a hands on approach to making. My work blends digital tools with physical craft, often centered around lighting, furniture, and experimental forms. I treat design as both a process and a mindset, rooted in iteration, detail, and a strong sense of play.
I care about creating objects that are useful, honest, and built with intent. From modular lighting systems to sustainable materials and 3D printed structures, I'm always exploring how form and function meet in the real world. Every project is a chance to design something considered and quietly clever, something that feels good to use and makes sense to keep around.
Why the S01 ?
At its core, the S01 Lamp is a reflection of everything behind About Sol Seven Studios. I designed these lamps to challenge what lighting could look and feel like. Most lamps out there are too plain, too expensive, or just boring. I kept thinking about how fun and bold furniture used to be in the 70s and 80s — full of color, modular parts, and personality. I wanted to bring that spirit back!
What makes the S01 Lamps different is how they’re made. Most people still see 3D printing as just a prototyping tool. I see it as a way to create real, final products. These lamps are built with that mindset: functional, affordable, and crafted with accessible tools — not factory lines.
This is my way of showing what design can be when you follow your curiosity, break a few rules, and have some fun with it. That’s the heart of About Sol Seven Studios.
